Moving money from a savings account to general and writing a check out of an inmate account

1. Log into Lockdown

2. Go to Residents and Edit Accounts

3. Type in the resident's ID

4. Under transactions choose savings

5. Click the arrow to change the direction of the flow of money (Default is from main to savings)

6. Enter the amount and click Save

7. Select write checks

8.Select Ignore Debt (as most inmates will have debt)

9. Print the check.* Note : If the Ignore debt does not work, please make sure that in the options of Lockdown that ignore debt is enabled

10.In some cases Check Disbursement Debt Override should be checked
