1. Open up lockdown
2. Go to Banking -> Checkbook
3. Balance
4. Highlight the reconcile already started
5. Hit Save
6. Click on the blue arrow and select deposits
7. Highlight the amount to split
8. Chose Split
9. Confirm the split by selecting yes
10. Select yes again
11. In box 1 (1st amount), enter in the amount of money that we can account for to clear on the reconcile and enter in the remaining money uncleared in the 2nd amount box
12. Hit save
13. Now click on the clr column to clear the 1st deposit
